Active Petition: Hold RUDA Accountable for the Flooding in Park View City
The Youth Justice Network has launched a nationwide petition demanding legal accountability and transparent investigation into the Ravi Urban Development Authority (RUDA) and its affiliated developers, whose unregulated construction and manipulation of natural waterways have led to severe flooding, displacement, and environmental damage specifically in Park View City and adjoining areas of Lahore.
This petition calls for justice for affected families, transparency in urban planning, and strict action against environmental violations that have endangered citizens and destroyed ecosystems.

In the aftermath of unprecedented flooding in Park View City, hundreds of homes were damaged and families displaced. Investigations by independent activists and local communities pointed to unauthorized land development and canal redirection by RUDA-backed projects.
Despite repeated public outcry, no formal inquiry or accountability process was initiated.
This petition, initiated by Youth Justice Network, seeks to ensure that the voices of victims are heard and that no development authority operates above the law.

Compensation and rehabilitation for affected residents whose properties and livelihoods were destroyed. ``
